Sep. 11th, 2005 11:34 pmThis weekend turned out alright. Actually, no. It turned out better than alright. Friday night I took a trip out to the country to visit thelittlebeast. The littlest of them is starting to know my name and recognize me, and not run at the sight of me. Progress! We played a hilarious game on the Playstation, and feasted on wine and chocolate and cheese and sushi. I love having friends who live out of the city, it's like taking a mini vacation every time I see them.
Saturday I squeezed in a few warhammer games in Harvard Sq., going 1 and 1 for the day. Even the loss proved to be a very challenging game, and I'm looking forward to the rematch. I topped the evening off with a great night of dancing at the VI fetish party. The company and dancing were top notch, and I was in much more control for the night. More progress!
Today I dealt with laundry and bills, and did some prep work for my upcoming campaign. I think it's going to be very enjoyable being in the driver seat again. Wargames can be fun (but also stressful), where RPG's tend to be much more rewarding. There's no winning involved, it's just about making sure people have a good time. I'm down with that.
Some of these days deserve a little more detail, a little more explination. That will have to wait for another day, I'm too tired to give things the richness they deserve right now. Plenty of time for that in the future, my friends. Plenty of time.
