Thanks to everyone who came over for the cookout yesterday. There was so much tasty food, among them the deviled eggs and the spicy steak (cloves? corriander?) The sangria was tasty as ever, but we didn't quite kick as much of it as expected. I blame the mystery drink for that (which was also a success). This was my week to hold down the fort so Mishak could go and enjoy heroes. We may have found ourselves a new (old) club night again. There was actually some dancing going on at the party, which I whole heartedly encouraged. People seemed to have a very good time.

Today has been much more mellow. Perhaps too mellow. I finally watched The Woodsman, which was a really intense movie. Not quite like Happiness, but close.
I followed up the Woodsman with Closer today. It's a love story for people who don't know a thing about love. Maybe they know too much about it. I'm not sure if it's a good film, because I can't quite fathom some of their motives for their actions. It was setup rather interestingly, and really felt like a play. It's not a very hopeful movie, that's for sure.
