My own bad decision led to three of our party members dying in tonight's DND game, including myself.
Some people just play games and don't get invested. My character in particular has a major rivalry in the game, but I keep getting him killed off before we ever get to that point. My problem is I keep thinking of DND like a story, where the protagonist and the antagonist have to square off in the end. It's not like that at all. You can get totally snuffed out at any random moment, and all the work and effort you put into it goes to waste.
On top of that, I broke my expensive glass blender while doing the dishes, because I put in the drying rack at an awkward angle. Another bad decision.
Tomorrow I get to go back to the job I hate.
Life never stops finding ways to shit on you.
