Not your normal Christmas
Dec. 26th, 2004 12:48 amThere was no drama.
No raised voices (except in laughter).
No guilt, no violence, no avarice.
There was a handful of friends. a salt crusted tenderloin roast that came out deliciously. Wasabi potatos, lemony green beans, wine and beer and cinnamon cordial. There was the extended (heh) version of Return of the King, lots of commentary, and general good will towards men (and wome, and hobbits).
This was even time on the phone with family.
This is what Christmas should be like. Thanks for those who helped make it so.
