Fear of a white page
Oct. 27th, 2004 04:32 pmThe Red Sox stand ready to make history tonight. In a week, there will be a burecratic nightmare as votes are tallied, contested, and recounted w/out a paper trail. You'd think I'd have more to talk about at the moment, but I don't. There are some things, but they are secret (oh so secret!). There are costume parties fast approaching. For a change, I'm ready to meet them head on. There are stories about personal metamorphosis, but they require care in the telling.
Right now, the vice that has gripped my head is keeping all the important, clever sayings confined to the my skull. Many of you know that vice, it's the end-of-the-day vice. The one you get from sitting in front of a monitor for too long. The one that strikes after you've finished fighting off the food coma from lunch.
A good, long, stretch is in order.
