Travel... Without Movement
Jul. 27th, 2004 11:30 amAstral Projection might be my favorite running music. It's fast, beat heavy techno that fits my stride very well. The songs average about nine minutes, and have that rising sound common to trance that makes you want to keep pushing forward. It also lends itself to very interesting visuals while running, picturing sound and light and moving in bullet time. Tonight will be lifting, then back to running the next day. I'm experimenting with alternation running and lifting 4 days in a row, taking a day off then back to the 4. I don't know if it's better to have the full day of rest in between and take more time, or to work different groups every day, saving time, but not getting rest in between.
*curls feet* One thing for sure, I'm about due for some new sneakers.
It's curious that even though I wasn't dancing last night, my body is reacting like I did. Tuesday and Thursday morning are traditionally bad head space times. Exhaustion and dehydration do not fertile mindscapes make. The highs that bring you there, usually are.
