Jul. 12th, 2004 09:27 amFriday night saw a very exciting, almost cinematic turn in our mage game, when a few bad dice rolls provided a perfect plot twist. After a few so-so nights of dancing, I was rewarded with very good music, fascinating conversation, and still more compliments on the Cthulu skirt of Doom. I might need a little maintenance on it soon, as several of the tendrils are coming precariously close to being undone.
Next Friday should prove to be very exciting for a plethora of reasons. Will it be exciting as a plethora of piñatas? We'll see!
The highlight of Saturday was easily the evening. Attending a chill housewarming is a lot of fun. Attending a chill 50's themed housewarming wearing nothing but a bathrobe, slippers, and boxers was even more fun. Attending a chill 50's themed housewarming wearing a bathrobe, slippers, and boxers and Charlie, a lounge singer from Chicago who's father was in the Mob and who enjoys his martinis a little too much was the bee's knees.
