Today's additions to my hard drive
Dec. 9th, 2003 09:55 amRide - Going Blank Again
U2 - The Joshua Tree
Machines of Loving Grace - Concentration
New Order - Technique
Pulse Legion - Evolve
As much sleep as I got, I might as well have gone out last night. Sushi and a glass of red wine combined to sedate me quite nicely. At least I sealed another window against the cold.
I'm having an okay week, except for the low energy levels.
Moment of Zen: While shoveling snow last night, I thought about possible changes for the better in my life, and wondered briefly if something bad would happen to balance them out. I was once of the belief that nothing good came without something bad. If you overcame one problem, another would come along to replace it. That isn't necessarily so. When people overcome major problems in their lives (or if they don't have any major problems) they tend to elevate the minor problems into major ones, to give them something to complain about. I think it is possible to live a generally happy life, treating minor problems as the temporary irritations they are, and not granting them undue weight. Bad things will happen to people, but only from time to time.
*grumble* *stretttttch* On to more work.
