I spent the better part of the day building an XP laptop, which went pretty smoothly.
I was just told that the President of the company hired a friend of his.
His friend is demanding a laptop, right now. The one I just built, which will be a Windows 2000 machine.
I'm not mad at this really, I don't care if a laptop has to be redone.
There are plenty of other things to be upset over.

My downward spiral of the past few days has been arrested, thanks to cooking a delicious meal (see the title), and sharing said dinner, with a generous portion of good conversation with SilentQ. Add a dessert chaser of Cris to the conversation, and my day ends on a pleasant, sated note.
