Dragging my feet

It's the 3rd day of not working at E&Y. I've had another person introduce himself to me from Atlantis Partners. That's the second new rep they've hired since I've been unemployed. The irony isn't lost on me.
I need to decide in the next 48 hours if I'm going to the beach or not. There's a slight matter of jury duty, but I'm an alternate and only need to call a number to see if I need to show. A week at the shore means all expenses are covered by the family. It's also another week that I'm not available to work. I'll talk with my rep at Robert Haft to see if there is anything looming on the horizon. There are good and bad sides to taking the vacation. Actually the bad sides are pretty small, and mostly in my head.

My check from RH was smaller than expected. I'll see what I get from my unemployment money tomorrow.
I didn't feel very good today at all. My eating is off, I feel off center. More and more of my personal projects are getting completed, and that's nice, but I'm not any closer to ...

Ahem.

No need to focus on that. Let's just get a good night's sleep, make some phone calls, and send out a resume tomorrow.
