We (a different we) left the house full of laughter, good company, and Food That Should Not Be. I mused that I may have been a bit abrupt here or there, but I chalk it up to being tired. Playing lots of video games can do that to you. Later today I will fight for the honor of Boston, but first, sleep. I will have time to catch up with, and hang out with, others soon.

I felt a taste of spring in the night air just before I got into the house. Soon it will be comfortable hanging out on the front porch, surrounded by warm air, food, more laughter, and SANGRIA!

Yes, that's right. Cook out. Coming to a casa de sangria near you.
Despite starting off the day forgetting my dice, my unemployment slip, and my bill that I had to mail, I made it to the Providence/Boston Warhammer challenge on time, thereby ignoring the good natured ribbing I get for being late so often.

The first two games were nail biters, and ending up being draws. The third game I blew ahead and massacred my opponents troops. I just out maneuvered him, and he couldn't recover from his position. In the end Boston won over Providence by a handy margin and I was the highest scoring player of the day.

Now I'm snacking down on some tasty cheesecake, before I decide on how to round out my night. I need a few hours detoxing from the din of war, some real food, and maybe an evening of quiet company.

As a side note, I'm marking this day down as a memory, so whenever I get into a slump or complain about my dice, I can look back and remember when I was number one. ONE!
