Another amazing night of dancing, a fitting tribute for the day. I said I would dance and celebrate for those of us that couldn't today, and did I ever. Many familiar faces I spoke to, including a few surprising faces out my past, and welcome they were to see. And in the end, I found my biweekly friend, having missed her most of the night. Having pancakes after Manray was a suitable reconciliation for apparently missing her all night. We'll see what progresses from here.

At some point today I looked up and realized I had finished up all of my tasks. And on an upset stomach even.
I think the tenor of the week is changing. Good conversation pre ManRay, a strong night of dancing, unexpected breakfasts, the arrival of a DVD at work... all evidence of change. Last night while we drove she said that the winds were angels passing by. A very telling idea, even if angels don't exist. Angels are messengers, after all. The wind storm we had last night was persistent and powerful. I live for windy days and nights, and I felt very alive last night.
( there she goes... )
