This weekends gaming update went rather nicely! Saturday was the Warhammer tournament in Waltham. 14 of us played. Although my Dark Elf army went with no wins, 2 ties, and a loss, most of the games were pretty exciting and hard fought. And in the end I won an award for Best Army (combination of composition and painting). I was tied with another player, but seeing as how his was borrowing one of my armies, they gave the award to me. You could say I won it twice!
Today was the pre-release for the Camarilla expansion. I drafted a Ventrue deck and three packs of boosters. After three rounds, I had 2 table wins and 6 victory points. Had this been a regular tournament, I would have been in the finals. BUT this was a little different, they took the top scoring player from each clan. As luck would have it, Ben Peal also had Ventrue, and had seven victory points. So, no finals for me.
And at DND, my character did not die.
That's all the gaming news that's fit to print. I didn't lose my temper at Warhammer, got a little frustrated at cards but kept it under control. Making progress is a good thing.
As for the regular activitahs, that will have to wait until tomorrow. Night!
