Depressed or deprived?
Feb. 25th, 2002 12:50 pmWhen you find yourself down in the dumps, it's important to remember to ask yourself:
"Are you really sad? Or are you just tired?"
When I'm tired, I feel exactly the same as when I'm down. Lack of energy, little things make me cringe or want to scream, I look at things in the worst possible light. But if I really focus through the exhaustion, if I rationally tick points off in my head, I find that things aren't as bleak as they appear to be, and that if I could just lay my head down FOR A FEW HOURS I would feel infinitely better.
Which is probably what I will do tonight. Go to sleep right after Angel. I'd like to go to Ceremony, but that can wait for another week.
You want to hear about the rave? That will have to wait for a little bit longer...
