Where to begin...
Nov. 16th, 2001 02:15 pmI feel like I'm in disguise today. The outfit I threw on doesn't look like me much at all: white button up textured shirt, plaid vest, blue jeans. It's a holdover from many Christmas' past, from sometime during my college years. It's one of the few articles of clothing that have survived the passing of years. I caught myself doing the occasional double take as I dressed this morning.
Work. Quite the quiet, yet productive day. Helped someone import and export data between Notes and Excel, fixed a printer by pushing the stacker next to it so the connection was solid. I felt like Han Solo smacking the Millennium Falcon in Empire Strikes back. Rearranging the cube was the next step of the day, along with answering the odd help desk call.
The weekend? Still up in the air. I'm going to visit a certain someone down in Providence, but haven't nailed down departure times. I'm going shopping for Thanksgiving provisions, and there may be a table top game on Saturday. There will also be a possible party in Somerville, and star watching later tonight. I wish I could have caught the Perseids, but this soul also be fun, if a little cold. Maybe there will be someone there to help me keep warm.
Sunday I'm purposefully leaving open, to see where it takes me.
Life is, for the record, very good right now.
