Aug. 23rd, 2001 02:04 pmThere was a brief storm on one of my mailing lists recently, about LiveJournal. Comments were made about it being silly and egotistical, or why so many people used it. There was a furor about it, and now it seems to have subsided.
Yes, LJ is a public forum, and it could be considered "egotistical" to post here instead of having a secret, text journal in your room under your pillow.
Bah, you know, I felt a long discussion coming up about this, but I am drained from thinking and talking about it on other mediums: Trillian, email lists, in person.
So my egotistical ranting and audience will have to wait for another day.
