so the head of data and applications wants to stop having overhead announcements letting the staff know when the network is running slow, and when it's at full speed again.

Do they bother coming up with a way to notify the company, so I don't get 30 calls from people saying they can't use their programs? Of course no, Chris. Because they are incompetent, Chris

So I suggest to them to email the company about network slowdowns, to at least give the people using the programs a heads up.

I get blank looks.

*sigh*

Just call me when it's better, so I can let the 30+ people know when the call in.

I thought I was getting bored of all my CD's at work. At least until I listened to them on random play. All of them. Strictly speaking, they aren't random at all, just all the tracks listed in alphabetical order. But the uncertainty of knowing what's coming next, hearing L'ame Immortelle, then Dryft, then Assemblage 23, the Changelings is very nice. Varied. Keeps you awake.

And I'm finding myself nicely occupied today, actually.

Must finish this computer off, and get back to planning how to spend my 5 day weekend. Anybody up for a road trip to Montreal?
