Whew. My journal writing lethargy has sunk in again. Everytime I say I'm going to write something, I feel a wave of sleep roll over me, and my brain becomes fuzzy. This could be a useful way to sleep, since I'm having such trouble with it. Last night my heater made this obnoxious clicking sound, which kept me up for 30 minutes... at 4:00 in the monring. I ooked around in the valve with a straw, hoping to clear it out. I noticed a little white valve of some sort, and played with it until the clicking stopped.

Someone has begn to respond anonymously to my journal entries. It could be someone that I know, or someone from another part of the state. It's the first time I've gotten comments from someone I didn't know.... which makes it very interesting. I think come tomorrow I will begin writing my responses tomorrow, as the rest of today is likely to be busy... but I appreciate the comments!

This weekend was pretty busy. I ran my table top at Mat and Reginas. They and Quang were the only players; Tina was headed for a troipal cruise (damn her!) and Mark was snowbound. It was a very nice game, three hours or roleplaying, with no combat! I stayed afterwords and played on the PlayStation 2 Quang brought with him until 2 in the morning. It's ironic: I was going to ask Quang if he wanted to hang out at some point, and that evening we did just that. He's on the list of people I'd like to hang out with more. But I suspect his life is very busy...

Saturday night we had a dinner party (Clay and I) celebrating our 4 years of living in Boston as roommates. Juliette joked that we'd be common law partners in 3 more years! It was a very cozy gathering: Melissa, Sarah, Scott, Mat, Regina, Eric, and Juliette. We cooked a big dinner, drank lots of wine, and chatted about this and that. Everyone got along really well. I was very content.

Yesterday I met a friend of Katy's for dinner, a movie, and ice cream. Michelle and I saw 3000 miles to Graceland. It was an interesting film, I was expecting something of a comedy, and got a slightly surreal chase/double cross thriller movie. It was trying to be a lot of different things, and was a little muddy because of it. It also seeme a little long and lagged at points. But overall, I enjoyed it. The evening went nice as a first date. We will just have to see what develops. I don't feel an amazing pull right now, but as I said here before, I'm not looking for something very serious right now.

All right, time for some running, then a VHS meeting, then... finally.... home.
