Mar. 1st, 2001 06:11 pmJust stretching at work, during that quiet time of the day when the rest of the department has gone home, and I feel like I'm the only soul in the building. I can use the rest and relaxation right now, I'm finally feeling the effects of dancing last night. Daniel Myer, the man behind Haujobb, was DJing at ManRay last night, and was he amazing! He spun a lot of good tunes, including things I haven't heard in years (Nitzer Ebb!) and mixed it together wonderfully. I really miss DJ's who layer the beginning and ending of songs together, I heard a lot of that in Harrisburg when I clubbed there, it really promotes keeping people on the dance floor and making their feet really sore at work the next day.
The soreness is worth it.
I have a date to see 3000 miles to Graceland next week, once I find the theater and get the email out to my date. It could be interesting... we'll see.
Why is it every time I want to write in my journal, I'm overcome by exhaustion? And then I get great ideas, but I'm nowhere near a computer? The answers to these and other exciting questions will be answered... tomorrow.
