Double touch!

Cosmicserpent brought up the top of the random touch: when an attractive person sits down next to you on the T, and your arms or leg make contact, and you keep that contact for the duration of your trip. Your arms brush together as you are reading your paper but in a natural way, nothing so forward as a grope.
This morning, I was flanked by a blond woman in a grey dress and a Chinese woman in a flower print dress. Then an Italian woman in a tan dress stood at the pole directly in front of me.
What could I do? I just sat and read my book. I never looked up. I'm sure my smirking was internal. A fine way to start off my week.

I probably hate people like you and cosmicserpent on the T ;)

I'd just like to point out that these people touched me! I was just sitting there, minding my own business.

I also recognize that some people don't like to be touched. At all. Usually that discomfort is registered right away, and compensated for.

Less you think me a total cad. ;)

I would never think you a total cad ;) plus I recognize that I have slightly psychotic personal space issues when it comes to the T, never more so than in the last hot sticky week :)

I can't help but love a mode of transportation that costs me $8 for monthy access to the subway and buses, and that allows me to sleep or read on the way to work. Ever day. No driving, gridlock, or crazy drivers.

Hard to top it!
