i've made a new rule: until i have had my first cup of tea, don't talk to anybody who has the power to fire me or the power to bring about the firing of me.
User's computer crashes. Hard. I replace and configure it for him. No problem.
He calls back, saying he can't log in. It's because he's not typing in the right user name.
He calls back again, saying his programs won't load. It't because he gave me the wrong user name, so he's not registered on the pc.
He calls back again, saying his keyboard doesn't work. I tell him to turn on the numlock key. He says it's on. I go up there, and the numlock key is OFF.
