There is something immensely satisfying in doing a job well, and having a finished product when you are done.

Perhaps I was a carpenter in a past life.

Perhaps I was a carpenter in a past life.

as a comparison, i've found the rennovation work i've been doing in the evenings WAY more enjoyable and rewarding than the computing work done during the day.

sadly, my painting of late has not be as satisfying. At time it has, but it's the self imposed pressure of finishing things that seems to suck some of the fun out of it.

It's still more enjoyable than work, but only marginally so.

Don't they have a vaccine against being productive out now? I thought they were putting it in all the french fries...

Jack -too hot to be productive today!

I've been staying away from french fries (mostly), which is probably why I'm still productive.

There is an occasional lapse when steak fries are involved. Mmmmm steak fries....
