You drag me across your open wound...

Tonight Chris kicked Hellraver's ass up and down the dance floor, picked him up and slid him down the bar, then dumped a trash can over his head. I spent much more time in the front room dancing to the Cranes and Skinny Puppy and Prick (guilty pleasure) and VNV Nation and Hooverphonic and Assemblage 23. Hellraver tried to comback with Apop and Haujobb and Underworld, but he just wasnt up to speed. Overall, I had a good night of dancing and chatting with people. I did take a moment to commiserate with a friend and grump about things. The problem was, I could not wipe the smile from my face... as I sat sadly by her side.

Between the two rooms, you should have a good night. Or we could return to Vertigo for some psy trance again. The yah dood element is really bad there, but if enough of us go, we can take over the club.

really? He's staying down in NYC? Any word on who's replacing him?

Hellraver had some good nights, and has skillz. The thing of it was he was replacing a DJ that had a large following, and had an attitude that rubbed people the wrong way. And he never played the full version of Other Worlds dammit! (Noise Unit song, one of my favorites).
