Ready to Go

Tonight was one of those rare Mondays where I went to Ceremony. It's the only chance I'm going to have to dance this week, and one of my friends is DJing, so off I went!
It was another solid night of dancing. He spun quite an impressive selection of music, covering a wide range of styles. That's always something to look forward to when he spins. And I did get a good workout tonight that's for sure. So hats off to the DJ, and a big round of applause. You can collect your congratulatory drink the next time you see me. *grin

And now.... off to bed...

no, thank you

The crowd last night was insane. I don't think I've ever seen so much eagerness on a dancefloor, and it made a huge difference. When a crowd isn't hyped up, I'll tend to get conservative about my selections, but when it was all like last night, I'll feel like I could spin anything I want.

So, yeah, it's not just me. It's you and Kev and Q and all those strangers who go out there and have a good time. Don't think it doesn't go unnoticed. and, hooray for positive feedback loops.

I felt myself slipping off beat during Dryft, but that was due to extreme exhaustion. :)

Must build more endurance!
