Alacrity actions

In my dream, I was Marcus.  Marcus was an elder vampire who was forced into exile by a rival, female vampire.  Some sort of Conclave was going on, and I showed up to it.  My arrival was met with shocked whispers, and not a few glares.  Most of the people who surrounded me wouldn't be seen near me, lest it be thought they supported me.  A few of the older vampires were quietly my allies, though the didn't speak out against my exile.  Lots of conversations were had, filled with threat and innuendo, which crescendoed into me giving a big speech that was two parts Shakespearian, one part pop culture.  The room was soon cheering my name  "Mar-cus!  Mar-cus!"  My rival, apparently played by the ST, seemed to slowly and graciously be making her exit...

... and then she walked back into the room, brandishing a shot gun, and counting out celerity actions.  She was blasting away at the people who supported me.  I stepped to the side and obfuscated, waiting for my turn to act.  Right around the NINTH celerity action of her first turn, she got to my position.  I told her she couldn't have any more dragon's breath rounds in her gun, at which point she lifted up her hands in some kind of Crinos / Horror form signal.

I put my head down in my hands and sighed.  In the end, it always comes down to this.

This is why I play Malkavians--no matter what we do or say...how bad it can get...everyone assumes we are totally insane...which is not true (the banana told me that last Moonday while sailing on the boat in the tub). It usually gets us out of stuff...though I am told that in the "new world", there are no malkavians, grrrrrrrrrr.

That all depends on the Prince, I've seen some very crafty, and scary, Malkavians in my time. They may have introduced the Malkavians, I havn't played in the "new world" yet.

hehehehehe....one of my greatest feats was creating a war between apes and spider monkeys at disney....after i vamped them, lol. some kept complaining about some damn masquerade, but i got no invitation to a ball...and i was even wearing my carnival mask! i even told them about the red door, and not to open it, but no one ever listens to me or suzie (my sock puppet sidekick, complete with fangs)
