... and through to the other side.

Thanksgiving day was well worth giving thanks for.  Another year, another delicious bird, and some excellent company.  Thanks to everyone who could make it over.

The high points of the weekend were hanging out with Mat and Badriyaz on Friday AND Saturday, sharing the thrill of BSG:Razor, and the agony of Bloodrayne.  Seriously, we turned it off after about 15 minutes.  Night of the Dolls was fun too (though I keep referring to it as Valley of the Dolls), and Stephen King's The Mist was very satisfying as well.  The tension was tightly wound, the almost total lack of music adding to the creepy factor.  The new ending was awful, then awesome, in a horrible way.

Despite my usual impressionability when it comes to movies, I didn't have any Mist related dreams.  It's better than that.  I woke up and took a shower.  When I looked out our tiny bathroom window, the skies was a ghostly gray.  As the window fogged up, visibility dropped and it looked like my house was surrounded by... The Mist.  There were a complete lack of creatures, so I guess that worked out OK.
