a brief announcement

I can now discuss the Potter book.
That is all.

EDIT Obviously, there will be spoilers in the commentary section. Don't jump in unless you've read the book!

I was surprised they stayed away at the school, and spent so much time with the wedding as well. But as this is the last book in the series, it only feels right to revisit everyone and give them some kind of sendoff. She really kept the tension high all through the book. The wandering in the woods dragged a bit, but it also highlighted their isolation from the rest of the world and their friends.

I missed Snape as well, but he was firmly in the enemy camp at this time, and once the book moved past the wedding there was very little time to dwell on what happened in the school. It was nice to hear the others (Luna, Neville, and Ginny) were carrying the torch.

Neville is so my hero. I'm very pleased how she handled Snape. I need to re-read the ending to see how the King's Cross section played out. I started reading at 4 and didn't finish until 1:30, so thing may have gotten fuzzy.

Mrs. Weasly FTW!

She was AWESOME!

And forshadowed by the "sabre-toothed tiger" remark in book 2...

I just loved thinking back to all of the stuff in previous books than now means something different. :)
