You are not alone

Appearances to the contrary, no one is happy all the time.  Everyone wrestles with their moods, or has a black dog that needs to be kept at bay.  Usually, we fight these battles on our own, but not always.  It was the end of a long day: running in the morning, work, poi practice (picked up turning with reels), and Ceremony.  The night was going pretty well, but I could feel my mood slipping a bit.  A friend of mine slid up to the bar, and ordered me a vodka redbull.  He took the can, raised it and said.  "A toast, to willpower."

I swear I got choked up.

I will now leave you with an amusing quote from the night:

Different her: I have abs like Leonides!
Me: I'm glad you don't have his beard, too.

This is so true.
I always try to remember the above when I find myself in a depressing mood or just when I feel all alone in this world(which happens from time to time). I just wish me repeating a statement like this over and over again worked more often. heh.

The more you repeat it, the more it helps!

Then, all of a sudden, you see something differently. It makes sense!
