A mixed bag.
A last minute change of plans had me joining folks watching Hot Fuzz again. It was every bit as good the second time around, and everyone else had a great time with it too.
Saturday was supposed to be a tournament, but the turnout was both small and unever, seven players. We watied for some more people to show, and I went outside to get some fresh air. I noticed some people running through the parking lot. On returning to my car, I found the rear windows smashed in. The insides were tossed around a bit, but nothing was missing. I didn't really feel in the mood to play at that point, so I drove home and reported the incident to my insurance company. I appear to be completely covered, and they are sending someone out to repair the glass on Tuesday.
I dropped my Mishak's early in the night to prep for Black Magic, we drove around for a bit before finding some parking. We were overcharged at the door, but were given a drink ticket to make up for it. (This ticket got me a drink that was twice what I was overcharged, so I call that a win!) Mishak and I chatted with a lesbian couple who were there early as well. His hair was the icebreaker, and we ended up chatting quite a bit during the night, finding common ground in admiring the dancer in our corner! The music was a blast, I love watching the youngsters dancing to classic industrial tunes. It was a very good night out with friends, which helped make up for the earlier misadventures.
Sunday was chill by comparison, wrapping up a story arc in our DND game (at the cost of two character deaths, and almost a third). Today begins the long monday, my poi and boots are in my bag. Tomorrow I should have a new window.

Kingsley had a car when we first met that had every window broken into at different times. Nothing ever worth stealing inside, but having to replace them was a pain in the ass. The last time his back window got smashed, he put some clear plastic over it temporarily, and then got hit from behind rendering the car useless. Insurance companies hated him back then. He's just unlucky with what we call car karma.
I hope yours was an isolated incident.
