I'm super, thanks for asking!

I worked on some more basic drills at poi class, and picked up how to do a new technique.  I'm focusing mainly on moving while spinning, and keeping an even flow with the poi.  This will lead to dancing with them, which will be a lot of fun.  I'm sure I'll pick up the really tricky badass stuff eventually, but dancing with fire is my main goal.

Snow makes a miserable Valentine, especially when you're standing foot deep in freezing water, trying to shovel out your driveway.  A very helpful (if talkative) neighbor gave me a hand after my shovel broke, and we cleared a spot just in time for Sam to arrive.  I made use dinner and bought a bottle of riesling.  My roommate has friends visiting from San Francisco.  We all got to talking, and drinking, and having a very hilarous time.  The day ended, on a very satisfactory note after it's snowy beginning.

Today I almost didn't make it into work, but it worked out for the best.  Tonight is for visiting Heatray and Tegin, and tomorrow begins a very full weekend.  It should be a barrel of laughs, if I can line everything up right.

on the way home from work yesterday I passed a 73 bus parked on the side of the road every 50 feet or so down Trapelo Road. it finally occurred to me that those busses can't pass each other, so when one of them gets stuck they're all stuck. which, during rush hour, leaves you with a road lined with busses. :)

Yay!

I'm so glad you are specifically setting out to bring dance into poi...a lot of people sort of miss the boat on that one! Myself included, though in my defense I've been spinning longer than I've been dancing so...I don't know.
