I watched Kiss Kiss Bang Bang earlier this week. It threw me a bit, but once I got into the rhythm of the movie, I really liked it.
I just saw Brick and it blew me away. Absolutely brilliant.
Amusingly enough, one of my favorite parts was when Laura used effulgent in that song.

I'm going to find me a free weekend, and I'm going to have me a Noir cocktail party. Dapper hats, mysterious blondes, jazzy period music, martinis, and danger. Well, there probably won't be any danger. Probably.

The movie was a bit confusing to start. Is is a drama? Is it a comedy? Is it smug and self aware? I started really liking the dialogue when Harry and Gay Perry were going on their detective mission to the cabin. It only got better and sillier from there.

I nearly fell out of my chair during the Russian roulette scene.
"Where did you learn math?"
