I watched Kiss Kiss Bang Bang earlier this week. It threw me a bit, but once I got into the rhythm of the movie, I really liked it.
I just saw Brick and it blew me away. Absolutely brilliant.
Amusingly enough, one of my favorite parts was when Laura used effulgent in that song.

I'm going to find me a free weekend, and I'm going to have me a Noir cocktail party. Dapper hats, mysterious blondes, jazzy period music, martinis, and danger. Well, there probably won't be any danger. Probably.

Janaury is looking like the most probably date for it. It combines my desire to have a cocktail party, and to play cool music from the 40's.
