Cinematic Awesomeness

Each trailer I see for Xmen:the Last Stand sends my inner comic geek screaming with joy.  When I rediscovered comics late in high school, Uncanny X-Men was the gateway.  Seeing bits and pieces from the movies, especially the uses of mutant powers or scenes lifted right out of the comics, sets off little endorphin bombs of glee in my brain.

As for endorphin bombs of a different sort...

I finally watched Secretary last night.  Very good, very hot movie.  The hottest part of the movie for me?  The scene where Maggie Gyllenhall's hands are on the desk, and James Spader's hand is right next to hers.  After a point, Maggie's pinkie slides over and curls tightly around James' finger.  It's a subtle little thing, but it conveys so much hotness.  Yow.

I got to see the secretary, with a group chosen from the SM scene in SF...

it was 40 people in all black, and then the Press.. (giggle)

SO:
there was half the crowd cheering, laughing, crying - and half the crowd - busily takeing notes....

After the movie - we went as a group to dinner - and discussion - it was enlightening - because - may of the people in the group - did not ever meet someone who was a self cutter in the Scene before.

which boggled MY mind.

But yeah ! it is SO sweet and romantic. -sigh-

cutter

LOL, boggles my mind too, hehehehehe. I met my first one my freshman year in highschool. She was one hip chick, and no one knew. I only found out when we were in track and her pants had a hole in it and I saw the damage and asked her about it. Opened up a whole new world for me, to say the least.
