Cinematic Awesomeness

Each trailer I see for Xmen:the Last Stand sends my inner comic geek screaming with joy.  When I rediscovered comics late in high school, Uncanny X-Men was the gateway.  Seeing bits and pieces from the movies, especially the uses of mutant powers or scenes lifted right out of the comics, sets off little endorphin bombs of glee in my brain.

As for endorphin bombs of a different sort...

I finally watched Secretary last night.  Very good, very hot movie.  The hottest part of the movie for me?  The scene where Maggie Gyllenhall's hands are on the desk, and James Spader's hand is right next to hers.  After a point, Maggie's pinkie slides over and curls tightly around James' finger.  It's a subtle little thing, but it conveys so much hotness.  Yow.

hehehehe, oh yeah. i felt the ending could have been better, but it fit the scene so well. reminds me that the sub has more controll. though, i would have NEVER sat in that wedding dress and tinkled all over myself!! yes, it brought a very touching scene of him bathing her, but still!

that was pretty hardcore. I mean, the ending did seem very tame, but even though their relationship had a lot of S&M in it, it was about love too. About two people who fit each other oh so well.

Besides, just because you're into S&M doesn't mean you are doing it 24/7.

true, i understand all that, and i was not even expecting an s&m ending. i understood what she was doing and why. i am just picky about movie endings in general.
