breathing that near spring air

Today is flowing and feeling MUCH better than last week.  I'm pretty sure of the reason why.

Monday: I had one day to drop some cash so I could extend my 0% financing for three months on my credit card.  I grabbed some new novels (American Psycho, Kushiel's avatar, and a collection of Steven Brust stories), a few CD's (including Good Night and Good Luck), and two New Order CD's.  I forgot how much I liked New Order, and how good their songs sound even after twenty odd years or so.  It's pure, concentrated, happiness.  Love it.  Dancing would have followed, but I took my sweet time making dinner, and was drained from the night before, so in I stayed.  Next week I start tango lessons with Nepenthe.  Finally, I'm doing something new instead of talking about it.

The weekend days were filled with gaming practice for the Colonial next weekend.  I've narrowed down what I'm going to use for the most part.  More lessons were learned, and I think I'll end up having a good time after all.

Lunchtime is here.

Kushiel's Avatar: On to the third already? :)

Praise Eula!

Yes indeed. I've also managed to read A Clash of Kings, and A Storm of Swords. I'm taking a break from the Terre D'Ange love to read American Psycho. Only one really nasty bit so far.

After that, more Phedra!

Ah, that's right. There's supposed to be fourth related book out soon isn't there?
I'm working through the His Dark Materials series right now.
