Today was as frustrating as last night was neat. Saturday was a pretty banner day all around, so that was something. Wine and cheese helped end the day on a good note, though I was very drained at that point. Thunder and lightning were an added little bonus.

Time to put this weekend to bed, another week is almost upon us.

Was it awesome or terrifying? Lightning is great to watch, but driving home in a thunderstorm, not so great a time. Especially when it rains so hard you can't see.

Just as I hit 128 the storm passed directly overhead. The lightning was striking just to either side of the highway. It was exhilerating to watch but it definitely reduced me to a thirty mile per hour crawl since the flashes were blinding.
