Two out of three ain't bad, when the one is so good.

General Gau's chicken for dinner: normally very good, tonight too much breading and sauce. Bad.
Land of the Dead: If this movie were made about 15 years ago it would have been great, but now it's just... uninspired. Disappointing (kinda bad)
Getting dinner and watching the movie with M, talking about naked people in the woods, and dissecting Land of the Dead and the Star Wars prequal with scalpels. Good (almost priceless, not quite precious)

I call this a win for the night. More on Land of the Dead tomorrow. If you must see it, rent it. It will be more fun at home with booze.

Slack, the hooker-with-a-heart-of-gold (Asia Argento, which is a nice touch, since her filmmaker father, Dario, produced and helped with the score for "Dawn of the Dead").
Shw was also in
xXx (2002) .... Yelena
The Keeper (2004) .... Gina (Which also had Dennis Hopper

Riley (SImon Baker) Was on the SciFI series called The Sentinal and had a role in L.A. Confidential

George A. Romero was so impressed with Simon Pegg and Edgar Wright's Shaun of the Dead (2004) that he asked them to appear in this, the fourth part of his "Dead" series, possibly in cameos as zombies.

And most importantly

Pillsbury (Pedro Miguel Arce) was in something called "Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen"

General Gau's chicken for dinner: normally very good, tonight too much breading and sauce.

Yikes! It's such a dissapointment (and a stomach killah) when the General Gau's is bad :(
