Let my people dance!

Many thanks to tygerwillow and danceforme for letting me partake of their golden glitter, which provided me with a more than adequate costume for the Babylon night at Fantasy Factory. The dancers looked amazing, the crowd was feisty, and despite a brief pall of blackness, the evening was a success. And there wasn't even any gold in my sheets in the morning.

Saturday I made it to the bi-monthly Warhammer tournament more or less on time. Game 1 was a textbook case of tactical genius, game 2 was a loss against overwhelming odds, and game 3 sucked offal through a straw due to bad dice. All was forgiven when I won best painted (a major accomplishment as there were many fine looking armies). Round out the evening with a few beers, hard conversation, and a pleasant surprise visit to ManRay, and you have a fine, fine day.

On a side note: I didn't know you could fit 4 dancers on one of the blocks. Maybe we'll have to get all the dancers out on a block at one time for a song or two. *grin*

Post-dancing happiness is pulling off a very-sweaty-from-much-dancing fishnet shirt and finding I am covered in golden squares across my upper body.

Hmmm... wonder how that happened?
