Wait for it...

The time is coming, and soon, when chairs will be moved to the back porch.  Feet will be propped up on the balcony.  Sangria will sit chilling in a tall glass, the fading sunlight filtered through blood red liquid, beads of water sliding and wiped away by a reaching hand.  Our polluted skies will paint a masterpiece every night.  Spring is just beginning, and there is much living and loving to be done.  There will be cookouts.  There will be night spent under the open sky with music and glowsticks.  And there will be thunderstorms!  Glorious, tumultuous, sky shattering thunderstorms!

It's like Christmas in April.  I love it.

Thunderstorms don't seem as common up here. Back in Pa, they were pretty frequent, and always spectacular. Our dorms were arranged so that there was a large patch of grass between them. During a good storm, people would run outside, or just lie down and watch the special effects show in the sky.
