My arm continues to swell like a sausage. I'm not on a more expensive antibiotic, and if it's not better in 12 hours then I'm off to the emergency room for... something stronger. There are dotted lines on my arm where I've been tracking the progression of the bacteria. They look suspiciously like the lines you see drawn on animals to show the different cuts of meat. This meat might not be the best for eating, all things considered. It could make an interesting costume for a party though. Walking shirtless through a party somewhere, dotted lines all over my body...

I kept track of the progress of the swelling with little dotted lineson my arm. It was pretty disconcerting to see the redness and swelling push past the boundary each morning.

This morning, it stayed behind the line. Tomorrow, maybe it will retreat.
