Mildly political

John Kerry might have exaggerated his war record when he fought for our country in Vietnam.

George Bush absolutely exaggerated the threat of Weapons of Mass Destruction in Iraq, and stayed at home during the Vietnam war.

Kerry should stop trying to defend his record in Vietnam, and focus on Bush's record in Iraq.

The problem is that Kerry's already blown his big chance to take on Bush with the war record. He was asked, flat-out, if he would still have voted yes for the attack if he'd know then what he knows now.

Sadly, he said yes.

I agree. He should be spending his time attacking Bush... Bush has done so many undefendable things that would be so easy to pick on. That would keep Bush on the ropes instead of Kerry... right now it seems that all Kerry is doing is defending attacks that come in and it's not getting him very far.

I pretty much agree. It's great that he's both a veteran and was an anti-war protester, but I just don't think the Dems are going to get far trying to make their candidate look all macho. I think thoughtful maturity is more within Kerry's reach.
