Left of Center

If you're going to be tired the next day at work, it should be for a good reason. Dancing into the wee hours, sweaty exertions with a like minded soul, watching after a friend who enjoyed the bottle a wee too much. It shouldn't be because you were putting away cards and building a new deck. I went back to our V:TES night after being away for about a year. I surprised a lot of people. After a slow start, things picked up and I managed a table win. Not bad for a year's absence. The night did remind me how many variable are involved in a multi-player game, and how that complicates how your game turns out.

The important parts of the weekend revolved around two incredible films, Kill Bill and Hero. I thought both of them were well filmed movies, and cinematic arresting, but at complete opposite ends of the spectrum. Both movies have vengeance as important themes, but there is more going on story wise in Hero. That does nothing to detract from Kill Bill, however. Both films are worth seeing, but Kill Bill is not for the squeamish.

I really want to see Kill Bill so will hopefully do so this week :)

Good luck with work this week, and congratulations on your win!

Let me know when you've seen it, then we can compare notes about the movie.

Thanks, I think the week will improve from here.
