I guess I can't buy the Ring yet

I woke up from another nightmare, and saw something in my room.
Larger than life, blurry, pale skin, dark hair. Just hovering with her back to me at the foot of my bed.
The rational mind was doing it's best to tell me that I was seeing things, that no one could be there.
But that didn't seem to shake the paralysis that grabbed me.

It didn't help the silence that came after, either. Pulling back the sheet over my window helped a little, but not much.
Perhaps a little music will help.

You know what I found? The first few tracks of Polarity would make a great soundtrack for the RING! The haunting orchestral chords, the sudden bursts of staccato music that match her little flickers across the room. Compared to that , the dawn light through my window did nothing more that light the path to my bed for her.

She never sleeps.
I hope I can.

I had something like that happen when [livejournal.com profile] heatray and I moved into our new apartment, except it was hovering above my bed, and the only reason I noticed it was because it was bathed in a really bright light, which at the time I figured was what actually awoke me.

Seriously.

I told [livejournal.com profile] heatray, [livejournal.com profile] photiq, and [livejournal.com profile] mrzero about it and they were all convinced that I saw an angel.

I didn't think angels were so f*cking scary.

Considering that angels are always the ones who do gods dirty work (Angel of Death, or just watch the Prophecy), I'd say that angels can be hella scary.
