Friday:

I could have gone to ManRay for the Arabian themed night, which sounded awesome according to Photiq and Sirendipity.
I could have gone to a swell party hosted by Indecenthamtard.
Hell, I could have done both.

Instead, I stayed at work from five till one in the morning, working on a tricksy laptop problem and accruing many extra hours to make up for the time I'll miss on Thanksgiving. That will almost be a normal week.

Christmas will suck though. Seven unpaid days is pretty unhappy. I'll see what I can do about that.

Saturday:

The room was layered in people: every square inch of the floor, couches, bean bags, and futons were covered with bodies. It was the first movie night in Providence, although it could have been the prelude to a Roman bacchanal based on the first film we watched (Zombie lake, a French naked girl zombie movie where we learn that Nazi zombies can love beyond the grave, and French ponds look like swimming pools from beneath. "Life is meaningless!" The room began to filter and change in, people sitting in shifts to watch films and drink in the kitchen. There were bodies writhing on bean bag chairs, exploding kung fu chickens, wire fu puppet movies, and lots of karaoke revolution. As the numbers dwindled, the movies grew stranger (robo vampire) and a few good natured scuffles broke out. Finally exhaustion claimed us one and all (except Mishak) and we made our ways home. My sleep was blissfully free of nazi zombies, for which I am very grateful.
