I'm not going to do any painting tonight.
I managed to glue on the arm of a stubborn figure that was my bane a few days earlier. That is victory enough.

The rest of the evening will be spent playing a little solitaire, a little army design, and then sleep.

With Frylock, Master Shake, and Meatwad keeping me company.

Yeah, I read about the price hike on WPS. Bastards indeed.

I'm still sore about coming in second at the Chaos Warband painting contest at the Harvard GW. Some guy came down from Nashua with a Nurgle band he did weeks ago, unlike the rest of us who painted ours up in a week and a half. If I had made a display base, I would have won, I think (we were tied for votes after two judges, but the tie-breaker went to him), and had my very own free Khemri force.

But I got a Keeper of Secrets out of the deal, so that's okay. I spent all of 2 bucks on my warband (for more gluegun glue) and had fun converting all the melting Nurgle'd slug-men.

I really want to do Khemri, as the rulebook I looked over seems to have fixed all the parts of VC I didn't like. That and the Casket melts Nazis. That /has/ to be good!
