Thump, thump, thump, thump

Not the best of nights for dancing, but I did some righteous tearing up of the floor. Got some nice compliments, saw a lot of new and young faces. No more young faces! I pushed it near the end, and came home with a satisfying sweat and the deep down need for sleep. Ayun has the cutest little gothic hoodie. Now she will kill me for saying that! Ah, one must live dangerously...

I saw more familiar faces than I expected to tonight. Kudos to you all!

Here's a little trivia for you: in the spirit of Hellraver's nod to old schoolness, the first person who slaps a title to the following song excerpts will get a free drink. Ready?

"...nothing for loser, the hero always dies... nightmare running racing skywards, towers boil black water tea... and in the land of rape and honey, you pray... Elvis was a hero to most...."

Pencils up. Begin!

land of rape and honey? hmm....nnope... cuz that's

"face to face
blood to blood
the mountain
you tumbled from
and in the land of rape and honey
you prey

step by step
you climb the mountain
you prey

fist to fist
eye to eye
the rulers of the wasteland
and in the land of rape and honey
you prey

step by step
you climb the mountain
you prey

head to head
chest to chest
which country is the very best?
and in the land of rape and honey
you prey

step by step
you climb the mountain
you prey
"

Do I get a sip?
